Associate Director of Internationalization Services, NASFA
Liz Cameron is the associate director of internationalization services at NAFSA: Association of International Educators. In this role, she serves as the staff partner for the International Education Leadership Knowledge Community and supports the operation of the year-long Executive Internationalization Leadership e-Institute program. She also manages NAFSA’s Senator Paul Simon Award for Campus Internationalization, which recognizes U.S. institutions making significant progress towards comprehensive internationalization. Prior to joining NAFSA in 2021, Liz spent 11 years managing language immersion and internship programs for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students in the Balkans, Eastern Europe, and Eurasia at American Councils for International Education. Liz received her BA in Russian Area Studies and a minor in Computer Science from American University.
